Some of the most frequently asked questions about Phifertex® fabrics concern cleaning and care. The good news is that Phifertex is designed to be easy to maintain. By following a few simple care and cleaning steps, the fabric will maintain its good looks for many years.
When cleaning Phifertex fabrics, it is important to observe the following:
Prepare the cleaning solution by mixing 1 tbsp. of liquid dish detergent and 2 tbsp. of household bleach with a gallon of water.
Clean fabric using sponge or soft cloth dipped in the cleaning solution.
Rinse thoroughly with clean water and air dry.
Avoid direct contact with suntan oils or similar lotions, which may cause accelerated aging of fabric. If direct contact occurs, clean promptly.
